Over the past two years, County Hall Pottery grew into an artist-led space shaped by material exploration, exhibitions, and a vibrant community of makers, students, and audiences. Our in-house exhibition programme came to an end at the County Hall building.
Our 14 exhibitions captivated and inspired through a diverse array of contemporary ceramics. We showcased the talents of both emerging and established artists, presenting innovative techniques, bold designs, and thought-provoking themes. Whether a seasoned collector or a curious newcomer, visitors were invited to engage with work that offered a rich and rewarding experience.
Alongside the exhibitions, we hosted a programme of special events, including private views and dinners with the artists. These moments created opportunities for deeper insight into the creative process, fostering meaningful connections between artists, their work, and our audiences.
Although we are sad to lose our gallery space, looking ahead, we’re embracing a more flexible, nomadic approach, focusing on external exhibitions, art fairs, and pop-up projects. Stay tuned!
